Global Rail Services Ltd is part of the Global Infrastructure Group and is a leading Irish provider of design, construct and commission services for clients across a wide range of engineering and infrastructure sectors including mainline railway systems, light rail and utilities. General contracting and building work, including private housing developments, commercial and industrial building, is also offered by GRSL – as a separate division.

The company is a principal framework contractor across a number of disciplines, which include civil and structural engineering incorporating maintenance and renewal, building, mechanical, electrical and power, permanent way, telecoms and train on-board support services and provides a full test and commission service, for both Irish mainline and light rail applications.

We are currently seeking a Site Agent/Site Manager with various levels of experience for immediate full time vacancies in the Drogheda and Leinster areas.

Job description:

• Primarily being fully responsible for the successful delivery of projects both from a timescale and commercial prospect
• Candidates should note that the position might require travel throughout Ireland at certain times.

Applicants should have the following:

• 5 years+ Site Management experience
• Strong commercial awareness
• Experience in co-ordinating and recording multiple site meetings with varying authorities
• Experience in programming schedules and managing sub-contractors
• Client facing skills
• Excellent verbal, written and computer skills
• People management skills
• Competency in Health and Safety procedures
• A good track record in the industry, including references
