Global Rail Australia secure track turnout replacement project for Gradco

Global Rail Australia has been awarded the track and turnout rail works from Gradco. The track construction team at Global Rail Australia, priced all rail scopes for the Gradco tender submission for Tasrail’s Turnout replacement program and were awarded the following scope of works:

• Replacement of 7No turnouts, including associated turnout formation work and track work

The track team commenced mobilisation for the Fingal line in May 2023 to start prebuilding a turnout and track panels. These will be installed with Global Rail Australia’s hi-rail plant.

All works will be completed in 3-day occupations from Thursday to Saturday evening, with the project completion due in September 2023.

Global Rail Australia will deliver this project through their core investment in track construction, which provides in-house track construction expertise, in order to deliver this project safely and on time for this key rail client.
