Ivan has held senior level roles within his previous appointments and has over twenty five years’ experience within the railway, telecom, construction and engineering industries, fifteen of which have been dedicated to the strategic development, successful implementation and long-term sustainability of the business.
A dedicated professional with extensive experience within strategic planning, project delivery, engineering, construction and professional development with specific experience delivering multi-disciplinary projects in the rail, telecoms, construction and engineering sectors.
Marco is a Director and co-owner of Global Rail Australia Pty Limited.
He has held senior level roles within his previous appointments and has over thirty five years’ experience within the railway industry, over twenty of which have been dedicated to the strategic development, successful implementation and long-term sustainability of the business.
He is also a railway signalling professional with extensive experience in strategic planning, project delivery, engineering, professional development and testing and commissioning specifically within mainline, metro and London Underground’s railway infrastructures.
Richard is Rail Manager for Global Rail Australia having joined in 2019.
He leads the track construction and welding division and is the main point of contact for clients in respect of all projects in this division. He is a dedicated manager that sets a clear vision and purpose in order to motivate and lead high performing teams.
His considerable experience in building and driving strong customer relationships comes from his previous role where he managed a leading track welding company. He possesses sound knowledge and extensive expertise for effective maintenance and new track construction within a variety of different railway infrastructure networks.
Poorti joined Global Rail Australia in 2019 as Finance Manager and has 15 years of Management and Financial Accounting practice in diverse industries such as Heavy Steel Fabrication, Automotive, Hospitality and Sports Products.
Areas of expertise include New Systems Transitioning, Implementation and Development and building robust financial frameworks coupled with Management Reporting. Poorti also has some experience with Statutory Legal and Compliance requirements in her previous roles.
She is a Qualified Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) with a Tertiary in Commerce.
Damien is an experienced Commercial Manager with over 15 years’ construction industry experience working for both public and private sector clients. He has been involved across a range of projects covering rail, telecommunications, education, residential, health, conservation and new build.
Damien has extensive knowledge of pre and post contract duties covering cost estimating, benchmarking, value engineering, allocation of risk, project tendering, tender reports, contract administration, claims assessment, dispute resolution, negotiations and final account settlements, having carried out these roles on wide variety of projects.
Brenton is a dynamic and skilled Electrical professional with over a decade of experience in the management of projects, which has been acquired through numerous years of employment in construction, electrical, audio and telecommunications fields. He has an excellent record of safe delivery and is committed to efficient working practices providing high levels of communication alongside a collaborative approach.
Innovation is at the core of Brenton’s work, with his installations consistently recognised for their quality and his ability to go above and beyond to delight the customer and exceed their requirements.
Tom has delivered lifecycle Project Management of rail and wider infrastructure works over the last decade. His vast experience has encompassed both major and minor projects for Tier 1, 2 and 3 contractors’, in both self‐delivery and subcontract management situations.
Tom’s role encompasses day-to-day management of Global Rail Australia’s infrastructure works, with responsibilities covering estimation and cost control, programme management, resource planning, subcontractor management and all necessary quality and safety controls.
