Global Rail Construction Ltd is part of the RSK Group and is a leading UK provider of design and build services to clients in the rail and transportation sector.

The company is a principal contractor for UK mainline and metro railways across a number of disciplines, which include signalling, mechanical, electrical and power (MEP), telecoms, civil and structural engineering, maintenance, renewal, providing a fully tested and commissioned service, on both Network Rail and Transport for London controlled infrastructure.

We are currently seeking a full-time Railway Infrastructure Setting Out Engineer to deliver an effective, efficient, and safe service for the company. The role is ideally suited to a career minded Setting Out Engineer.

To be considered for the role, you will need to demonstrate the following credentials:

• Strong Civil and Rail experience
• Understanding and working use of Network Rail and British Standards
• Ability to work together in a team environment
• Technical, analytical, and numerical design abilities
• Outstanding communication skills and demonstrable presentation skills
• Flexibility to travel throughout the UK as and when required and availability to work weekends and nights
• Knowledge of Network Rail and London Underground design and build processes
• Civils, Drainage, Piling, and Temporary works experience
• Car Driving Licence
• LU ICI
• Ideally a TWS
• Certification in the use of various handheld power tools (various)
• CSCS card
