Global Rail Construction Ltd Secures Key Role on Rail for London Windrush Line Contract

Global Rail Construction has been appointed as a principal delivery partner on a major infrastructure maintenance contract for Rail for London’s Windrush line. The five-year agreement will see Global Rail Construction and 1stinrail deliver planned preventative and reactive maintenance across one of London’s most important transport routes.

The contract covers a broad range of assets, including track, signalling, electrical systems, telecoms, drainage, vegetation management and boundary security, helping to ensure the continued safe and reliable operation of the network.

A key element of the contract is the introduction of TeamLeaf, an innovative asset management platform that uses artificial intelligence and augmented reality to improve asset visibility, support predictive maintenance and enhance operational efficiency.
